Welcome! Art Appreciation at ECC North

Hello class,

Welcome to the class blog, where we'll keep in touch with each other in between our once-a-week class meeting. I'll post everything from announcements about excursions to images, relevant articles, etc. I plan to post to this blog at least a couple times each week, so be sure to check in at least several times a week for information and instructions. If there is a class cancellation, notification of that will be here. It is your responsibility to keep current with what's going on here, so be sure to bookmark this page for easy future reference!

I will generally give you a heads-up regarding the next Friday class early in the week. If we're going on an excursion, the post will contain information about the place we're visiting, a link to the website, etc. If we're going to look at specific artists, I will include names so that you can do your own research to familiarize yourself with what they do before we see the work in person.

There will also be posts that will introduce you to brief readings that will be discussed in class, and that you can also address in your blog and discuss among yourselves.

You should plan to write in your own blog at least once a week, if not more. In addition, ten collection posts are required throughout the semester. More on that soon.
