Where: 468 Washington St. at Mohawk, downtown Buffalo. It's about a block up from the main downtown library.
When: Friday, March 1st – be there at 3pm SHARP! They will be leading us in a workshop and it is important that you do not miss any of the presentation ahead of the hands-on work that you will be doing.
Remember! If you don't know exactly how to get to the location, then PLAN AHEAD and leave extra early so that you will have time for getting lost, figuring out public transportation, finding parking, or whatever else impedes you normally. I am urging you to get your butt to our excursion ON TIME this Friday.
Cost: It's $15 per person, which includes a letterpress workshop. You will come away having learned how to make your own print, as well as with a copy of the print! Parking is on the street (bring quarters!) or in the lot nearby (cash or credit card, I think it's about $4.00). If money is an issue, please talk to me about it – don't NOT come on the field trip because you're short of cash this week. WNYBAC does accept credit cards, too, by the way.
NOTE: Be sure to wear clothes that you don't mind getting permanently dirty (printer's ink), or bring an apron or smock.
(Click on the link for WNYBAC at the beginning of this post for more information and directions on how to get there. See you there!)
